on the outskirts of the village, next to a texo centenary, you will find its church called los Remedios, before Santa María de Rimori, and a hermitage until
the middle of the XVIII century. Its structure has been reformed, but yet conserves its original front and bell tower.
The Carrio mine is the most oriental and is the only one which still operates in the council of Laviana. You can find several interesting things in its grounds
which are very interesting: the bridge which crosses the river Nalón, considered an engineering work of art in its time , built at the beginning of the century; and the other
its railway, where you can see its locomotive engine, famous for its mining work in the valley: La Marqués de Bolarque, name
which it was given by one of the shareholders of the mine.
