VILLORIA

Villoria is situated to the south, of the council.To the north it borders with Entrialgo, to the south with Tolivia and the council of Aller, to the east with Lorio (Llorío in asturiano), to the west with Mieres and to the north west with San Martín del Rey Aurelio. It has a surface area of 30,90 km², It is 4,20 km from Laviana and it has a population of 1149 inhabitants who live in the farm houses and villages of Arbín, Les Bories, Braña Riba, Bustiello, El Cabu, Campumayáu, El Cerezaliru, La Caúcia, Corián, La Correoria, El Corazal, El Fabariegu, Febreru, Fechaladrona, Los Fornos, Grandiella, Grandón, El Meruxal, Les Mestres, Migalpiri, La Paraína, Piedresnegres, La Pumará, Les Quintanes, La Reondina, Reondo, El Rosil, San Pedro, Solano Baxo, Tablazo, El Tendiyón, Los Tornos, Valdelafaya, Viscozá, Villoria, Braña Baxo, Solano Cima, La Llosagra, El Llosón, La Barrosa, La Boza, Brañifraes, El Bravial, La Casa la Peña, Faiseques, Fonfría, Piedrafita, Sograndiella, Tarrucio, Troncos, Vallicastañal and Los Veneros; the next verse from a song makes reference to the before mentioned:

The village of Villoria, at an altitude of 340 metre, occupies a flat area formed by the river called la Molinera and its mouth, to the right, of its affluent, The river Tilla.
The parish of Villoria was, until 1826, limit and jurisdiction owned by D.
